Pratik Shah

Pratik received his B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Nirma University in 2007 and M. Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2009. He was a recipient of the Institute Silver medal for being the best outgoing postgraduate student of the Department at Indian Institute of Technology. From 2009-2012, he designed filtering algorithms, visualization methods and optimization method on the concept of compressive sensing at GE Global research, India. Currently he is a PhD student in Electrical Engineering department, University of Southern California. His primary research focuses on developing the inverse scattering algorithm for microwave imaging.

His research interests are in inverse problems, optimization methods, compressive sensing, shape features, pattern recognition, medical imaging and medical image analysis.
